Action|Ignore|Students

The Ignore Students command allows you to ignore students in the calculations. Tag each student to ignore, then choose the command and enter IGNORE to confirm the ignoring and click on the Ignore Students button. An ignored student shows a cancel icon next to the family name.

This command is useful when you have students who have limited results (for example, who are new to the school) that you do not want influencing the calculations of the other students in the same class and markbook.

Ignoring students means those students are ignored in all calculations. For this reason it is recommended that the Untag all students command be used before tagging each student you want to remove. This is to help ensure that only the intended students are ignored.

• An ignored student can be included in the calculations by clicking on the cancel icon next to the family name of the student.
