Backup a group of markbooks
The Backup a group of markbooks command creates a zip file with all markbooks in a related group. The zip file must be downloaded to complete the backup. This command can only be used by a User Administrator.
The command groups the markbooks in the backup by the owner of the markbook and who they are shared with. Any markbooks that have a single owner and are not shared are backed up as a single group. This is the last option.
Click on the Backup button to begin the process. After the backup zip file is created click on the Download Backup button to download the file. Then click on the Return to menu button.
- A backup made with this command must be downloaded for safe keeping at your site, SM-Marks Online does not keep a copy of the zip file you create.
The zip file contains all the markbooks as individual files with an extension of mk which can be used in the desktop version of the markbook, of be re-imported with the File|Import|Markbook command.
