Administration
Overview
The user from a school to first register with SM-Marks Online is automatically made a markbook administrator. The first responsibility of the administrator is to create additional user logins for the other staff at the school. There can be multiple administrators in a school.
- Because an administrator has the the ability to add and remove user logins and can change the owner of a markbook it is recommended that the minimum number of administrators be made to maximise the integrity of the markbooks.
All the administration commands are accessed from the initial menu of SM-Marks Online. This is the menu that appears when there is no markbook open. The administration commands are:
- Add users to SM-Marks Online
- Edit users
- Reset a user password
With more commands accessed from the Other administration actions link, which are:
- List all markbooks
- View markbook access log
- Change the owner of a markbook
- Import markbook owner and share list
- Undelete a markbook
- Backup a group of markbooks
- Backup all markbooks
