File|Archive
The File Archive command makes an archive of the open markbook, or removes an archived markbook from the archive to make it active again. An archived markbook is not normally shown in the File Open command. An archived markbook can be opened with a click on the Show Archive button in the File|Open command.
To make an archive you must enter a prefix that is added to the name of the markbook. Using the same prefix for all markbooks that are from the same year means they will be grouped when viewed in a file list.
When an archived markbook is made active the file name is not changed. If you want to change the name of the un-archived markbook, use the File|Rename command.
- This command only archives the open markbook. A markbook administrator at the school can use the Archive markbooks command in the Other administration actions menu to archive multiple markbooks.
