Change the minimum and maximum result in a task?
The Range calculation lets you specify the lowest and highest results for a task and maps the results to lie in that range. To store the new results, a new task must be made.
- Choose the New|Task command.
- Enter the task name.
- Enter the task maximum.
- Click the Create Task button.
- Choose the Edit|Calculation command.
- Select Range from the Calculation list.
- Select a task from the Tasks list.
- Click the Include button.
- Click the Options button.
- Enter the Lowest mark for the range.
- Enter the Highest mark for the range.
- Click OK.
- Click on the Save Changes button.
Note that this mapping is a linear calculation. To modify the spread of results taking into account the distribution, use the Standardise calculation.
