How do I?

Force a student result to stay at zero, even when standardising a task?

A student may be given a result of zero for an assessment, and the result is intended to stay a zero because of a "no attempt". But if the task is standardised as part of a weighting, the zero can become a better non-zero result because of the mathematical process of standardising. This may be undesirable.

In those cases a zero can be forced to stay a zero.

  1. Enter the zero result as n0.

The n signifies that 0 must stay a zero, regardless of the calculation done on the task.
