How do I?

Give two different classes different weights for the same set of tasks in the same markbook?

Since the weights required for each class is different, there must be two tasks to store the result of the weights, even though both calculations use the same set of tasks for the raw scores.

  1. Create a task to store the weighting for the first class.
  2. Create another task, with a different name, to store the weighting for the second class.
  3. Use the Edit|Calculation command to add the required weighting to the first task just created.
  4. Use the Edit|Calculation command to add the other weighting to the second task just created.

In steps 3 and 4 when setting up the weighting the Classes button should be used to restrict the calculation to each class as required.

This means that each calculation task will only have the results for the class that has calculation applied to it.
