How do I?
Prevent a result that is manually entered in a task with a calculation from being changed when the calculation is refreshed?
For example, suppose you have a task that is a total made from the Weight calculation. You could choose to enter an estimate directly into the column with the weight calculation. But when any raw scores are changed in the markbook, and the calculated tasks are refreshed (i.e. the calculations re-done) the estimate will be promptly replaced by N/A.
This can be prevented, if you have a result that should not be affected by a calculation.
- Enter the result with an exclamation before it.
For example, enter !67 to prevent the result of 67 from being changed by a calculation.
The ! indicates that the result must be kept, regardless of the calculation stored in the task.
