How do I?

Print a list of students that are sorted on a ranking?

The Sort commands can sort on numbers or text. What this means, is that if a task showing the results of the Rank calculation is sorted that task will not give the expected results. This is because any ranking with an equals sign will not be sorted as a number. Instead you must sort on the task that was used to calculate the rank of each student.

  1. Select the Class name menu item below the toolbar of the class to print.
  2. Click on the Tag icon (looks like a "flag") above the name of the task that has the results used to calculate the ranking.
  3. Choose the Tools|Sort students|Numerically by task command.
  4. Click on the Tag icon above the name of the task that stores the ranks.
  5. Choose the Print|Marks command.
  6. Click on the Printer icon on the toolbar.
  7. Select the new Print Preview window or tab in your browser.
  8. Use the Print command of your browser to print the page.

If all the students are required in the list, choose the All Students menu item in step 1.

If you want other tasks as well you can Tag more tasks after step 4.

For higher quality printing, in step 6 click on the PDF icon on the toolbar to open another window or tab in your browser with the pages as a PDF file. These are printed with the PDF plugin of your browser or viewer.
