Introduction

Tag overview

Students, tasks, and classes can be given a tag. When a student is tagged, the flag icon on the left of the student name is coloured. A tagged task shows the same flag icon in the row above the task name. When a student or task is tagged, it is indicated as having a special significance for some commands.

For example, when printing with the Marks command, it is the tagged tasks that will be printed. Any tasks without a tag do not appear on the marks page. Another example, when moving students to another class, it is the tagged students who that moved.

Tags can be set by clicking with the mouse in the area next to the student or task where the flags are shown, or with the commands in the Action menu.

Tags are only temporary. When a markbook is closed and opened again, all tags are cleared.
