Tools|Estimate results

The Estimate Results command calculates an estimate for any students without a proper result in a task. Tag the task with missing results that need an estimate. Then choose the command. An estimated result is given to each student without a result. To indicate that the result not an actual result, the estimate is prefixed with an e.

• If the students that you want the estimates for do not have enough other results in the markbook to compare with the other students, the estimation cannot be done.

The Help|Estimate Assistant command also calculates estimates, but provides more control over what information in the markbook that the estimates are based on.
