I want let a teacher know his password, but it is not visible in the Edit Teachers & Staff command. How can I view it to let them know?
Passwords in SM-Reports Online are never made visible in the web browser. Even an Administrator cannot view the passwords. Since the login page has the Forgot, or don't have a password? link, there is no need to see the teacher password.
If a teacher cannot use this link, the Reset User Passwords allows you to send a new temporary password to the teacher's email address.
In the event that a teacher cannot access their email, the last option is to fill in the Login Password field of the Edit Teachers & Staff command for the affected teacher. The password set in this way becomes the teacher password.
These last two case, should only be in exceptional circumstances as SM-Reports Online is designed to remove the necessity of maintaining password from the administrator.
