Introduction

Overview

SM-Reports Online stores report information online and produces reports as PDF files which can be downloaded and printed. To use SM-Reports Online you need have a login name and password. If your school has a license to use SM-Reports Online you will need to organise a login name with the appropriate person at your school.

When logged in, SM-Reports Online shows a list of options. If you already have data in old SM-Reports you can import it to start working immediately. Or in the Import & Export section there are commands to import text and csv files of data. In the School Details section are the commands to edit or delete the details of existing teachers, classes and students students. In the Report Details section are the commands you need to define the layout and content of the reports.

If you previously used SM-Reports the most important difference, other than SM-Reports Online working in a web browser, is that the work files are no longer needed. There are no extra files to create, keep track of, and update from. This means teachers can work anywhere with an internet connection and the administrator no longer needs to update from work files. The report information is simply there in SM-Reports as teachers complete their work.
